Universal Health Coverage Meeting

When: 12 December @ 10h00 – 13h00

Where: Rondebosch, Cape Town

About the event

International Universal Health Coverage Day aims to raise awareness of the need for strong and resilient health systems and universal health coverage with multi-stakeholder partners. Each year on 12 December, UHC advocates raise their voices to share the stories of the millions of people still waiting for health, champion what we have achieved so far, call on leaders to make bigger and smarter investments in health, and encourage diverse groups to make commitments to help move the world closer to UHC by 2030.

This year, in recognition of the second UN endorsed, Universal Health Coverage Day on 12th December, the ICPCN in collaboration with UCT’s Primary Health Care Directorate, HPCA, PatchSA , Paedspal and the Children’s Institute are planning an awareness raising campaign and invite you, your colleagues, friends and family to attend. The morning program will take place at Erin Hall in Rondebosch and the program aims to, through contributions from guest speakers and the integration of creative expression, illustrate key messages around UHC.
