Open to all Child Health Care professionals with qualification relevant to Palliative Care:
- Paediatricians, GPs, Nurses, Social Workers,
- Allied Health Practitioners, Pharmacists,
- Psychologists, Therapists, Clergy etc.
PL- Recognition of Prior Learning process available for professionals with College Qualifications

FORMAT OF LEARNING:
- 1 year Diploma (Jan to Nov)
- Two contact weeks in Cape Town Face-to-face lectures, simulations, class discussions
- On-line learning (Amathuba platform):
- Weekly lessons
- Fortnightly class discussions
Assessments:
- 7 Assignment
- Mid-year Exam Written
- Communication skills assessment
- Portfolio of evidence
- Evidence of application of learning to clinical setting
COST:
Course fees- R 60 000 per year
